ApplePay on the Punto Web platform

Setting up Apple Pay on the Punto Web platform is an important step in offering your customers a secure and convenient payment experience. Apple Pay is a digital payment solution that allows users to make purchases using their Apple devices, such as iPhone and iPad. By enabling Apple Pay on the Punto Web platform, you can give your customers the ability to pay quickly and securely with just a few taps or swipes on their Apple devices.

Configuration in the Punto Web Platform

Pre-Conditions

  • Merchant is required to have an Apple Developer account.
  • The merchant is required to set up their Merchant ID on the Apple Developer platform.
  • It is recommended that the same merchant who accesses the Apple Developer platform be in charge of setting up the merchant in the Izipay back office.
  • Merchant is required to register and verify their Domain on the Apple Developer platform.

  • Conexión con Apple Pay (Connection with Apple Pay:): Displays the status of the connection to the Apple Pay service.
  • Merchant ID de comercio (Merchant ID): Identifier that the merchant registers in the Apple platform.

4. CSR of Payment Processing

Certificate signing request for Payment Processing; it is a document that is downloaded to be subsequently registered in the Apple platform; once registered, the Payment Processing Certificate with .CER extension is generated. Example of Payment Processing CSR:

6. Commerce Identity CSR

Certificate signing request for Commerce Identity; it is a document that is downloaded to be subsequently registered in the Apple platform; once registered, the Commerce Identity Certificate with .CER extension is generated. Example of Commerce Identity CSR:

8. `Establecer Conexión` button

Button to establish and validate the connection with the Apple service, once the connection is established the form will update and show the connection status to Conectado(Connected).
